I grew up near the city of Schaffhausen almost directly on the bank of the Rhine River – I therefore learned to treasure proximity to water already in my youth. That is probably why I liked it so much when I came to Zurich for my studies. I immediately fell in love with the city and Lake Zurich.
Dentistry also fascinated me greatly – and still does today. After five years as assistant dentist here in Horgen, I went back to Zurich to the University where I studied to become a specialist for reconstructive dental medicine. My focus in dentistry therefore lies in aesthetic dentistry and the replacement of missing teeth with reconstructions of teeth and implants.
I was very happy to return to Horgen to the Grimm Dentists and I am pleased to
have more responsibility in this large team.
It is also important to me that in addition to working with patients, I can
contribute to dentistry in general too. Currently, I am President of the Academic Alumni Association of the Clinic for Dental Crown and Bridge Prosthetics, Partial Prosthetics and Dental Material Science called “KBTMreloaded”, and also organise an advanced training course weekend for dentists in Davos. It is still a pleasure to me conducting regular lectures on my professional focus areas.
